1. What is BluOxy?
BluOxy is an ultra-potent broad-spectrum germicidal which is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and several viruses. This makes BluOxy suitable as a multi-situational disinfectant.
BluOxy has been proven to be effective against more than 120 pathogens.
2. What plant is BluOxy made of?
BluOxy is made of plant-based extracts combined using a proprietary formula with highly potent antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties.
3. How does BluOxy kills pathogens (fungi/bacteria/virus)? What is it’s mechanism of action?
BluOxy works in two ways. First, by interfering with the cellular membrane of the microbe resulting in a leakage of the cellular content. Second, it also interferes with the respiration at cellular level resulting in the death of the microbe.

A study was conducted at Veterinary Research Institute (VRI) Malaysia, which has been endorsed by ASEAN member country as the Regional Reference Laboratory for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. VRI has extensive research capabilities in viruses, vaccines and disease control.
The study concluded that BluOxy at 2% and 5% concentration level completely killed the Influenza H1N1 virus.
Malaysia’s Disease Control Division has also responded positively to a proposed used of BluOxy as sanitizer to control the spread of H1N1.
The effectiveness of BluOxy is also supported by the various regulatory approvals and accreditation obtained, including the following:
